Responsibilities:
- Doing legal research and writing a variety of legal documents.
- Communicate with clients and the opposing side’s attorney
- Examine and condense legal materials.
- Examining and negotiating contracts
- Helping with acquisitions and mergers
Requirements:
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere that calls for great organizational skills, the ability to balance competing demands, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization
High detail-orientedness
- A qualified attorney
- Must have writing, research, and analytical skills in law
- Experience as a Licensed Attorney is greatly preferred
- A general understanding of intellectual property licensing
- Proven expertise in commercial leasing
- Experience in stock transfers is strongly desired
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M& A)
- Basic understanding of corporate compliance
- Expertise with LLCs
- Deep understanding of contract negotiations
- Experience conducting legal studies
- Proficient understanding of draft agreements
