Job Description

Job Type: Attorney from home
Location: California work from home
Company: Robert Half International

Responsibilities:

For a foreclosure litigation project, Robert Half is looking for an accomplished litigator. Our client is willing to teach attorneys with basic civil litigation experience the specifics of the foreclosure legal process and represents people who are in the midst of a foreclosure. The ideal applicant will have at least three years of general civil litigation experience. However, it’s an advantage if you’ve had expertise with evictions in landlord-tenant cases or real estate litigation.

Working with clients and getting in touch with financial institutions via phone, letters, and notices are just a few of the responsibilities that will be required of you. Other duties include researching laws, analyzing legal documents, drafting pleadings, and filing lawsuits. For California-based and California-licensed attorneys who can work a regular schedule of 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday (32 hours per week, with every Friday off), this position is 100% remote. Candidates looking for “off hours” work shouldn’t respond to this posting because you must be available for teleconferences, video meetings, and regular customer, internal, and external party communications throughout regular business hours.

Requirements:

  • High caliber academic background and references
  • Working knowledge of dynamic, evolving workplace environments is a bonus.
  • Being perceptive, precise, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting
  • Superior communication skills in both written and social contexts
  • Powerful computer abilities, including knowledge of client database systems
  • A track record of success in litigation and contract review
  • Certified lawyer in good standing with the state bar
  • Keep a full-time schedule for the life of the project.

All applicants who submit applications for U.S. job positions must be able to legally work in the country. Contract/temporary workers are eligible for benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. Professionals on a contract or temporary basis can also sign up for our company’s 401(k) plan.
