Responsibilities:

• Work together to understand needs and create solutions in accordance with business requirements with internal customers, leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers.
• Utilizing domain driven design and test-driven development, maintains and improves current enterprise services, applications, and platforms.
• Debugs and troubleshoots complex problems; finds and applies fixes
• Aids in the development of thorough project specifications, requirements, and estimates; ensures that activities and projects are finished on schedule and within the parameters set forth
• Works with software architects to make sure that choices are made that will support long-term enterprise growth
• Encourages the creation of code standards and complies with security best practices
• Investigates and applies new technology to improve performance, security, and current procedures

Requirements:

Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, information systems (CIS/MIS), computer science, or a closely related technical field, or comparable experience or training
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for two years

Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.

• Experience in the airline industry, including with business procedures and supporting technology, is needed.
• Java design and implementation expertise
• Programming knowledge using Angular is a bonus

Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications

• Practical knowledge of the Agile project management technique
• Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and capability to change work conditions and priorities.
• Possess a strong drive to study new things and broaden your knowledge
• The capacity to comprehend difficult issues and put solutions or workarounds into practice
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio in the Microsoft Suite
