Responsibilities:

• Encourage, mentor, and support your hourly staff
• Oversee client delivery commitments, quality, efficiency, and safety
• Work together to create plans to achieve corporate objectives with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources.
• Push, pull, squat, bend, and reach often while lifting up to 49 pounds.
• During shifts, stand or walk for up to 12 hours.
• Operate in a setting where noise levels fluctuate and can get quite loud.
• Operate in a climate that is prone to weather variations (loading departments are located outside of delivery stations).
• Climb and descend steps continuously (applicable to sites with stairs)

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

• Experience managing employees and performance for at least two years
• At least two years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience, or a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
• Work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS

• Experience with lean approaches, process optimization, or performance metrics for at least a year
• Expertise leading a group of more than twenty workers. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean process, and/or other process improvement methods Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities * an undergraduate or graduate degree in operations, supply chain/logistics, engineering, or a similar discipline. retail, food and beverage, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution contexts are examples of industries in which experience is gained.
