Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in the strategic field of marketing measurement and optimization through the design, development, deployment, and invention of sophisticated science models. Collaborate with experts in science, economics, engineering, and product management to deconstruct intricate business issues using scientific methods.
• To enhance long-term causal estimating methodologies, comprehend and mine the vast amount of data, prototype and use novel learning algorithms and prediction strategies. Create, construct, and implement cutting-edge machine learning solutions to enhance various parts of our causal inference and machine learning pipelines.
• Disseminate your research in the areas of machine learning and causal inference at both internal and external scientific conferences. Mentor other scientists at AWS and have an impact on long-term scientific projects.

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

• A Master’s or PhD degree plus four or more years of expertise in the computer science, engineering, or related fields;
• Building machine learning models or creating algorithms for business applications
• Experience with patents or publishing in prestigious peer-reviewed journals or conferences
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a similar language
• Programming experience in any of the following fields: high-performance computing, parallel and distributed computing, algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, and data mining

DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS

• Expertise in statistical modeling, experimental design, and machine learning methods;
• Professional software development experience;
• Patents or articles published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals or conferences
