The team at GovernmentCIO is in need of a functional analyst. the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Service Management Office is responsible for the position (SMO). giving the organization’s executives and stakeholders support with data calls, action item support, administrative support, and data management. Kentucky, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and other far-flung areas are desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Calendars for executives
  • Keep up with departmental and program budgets, and comprehend the merits of funding requests.
  • Understanding of the planning, executing, and maintaining a wide range of IT business processes
  • Support top executives with scheduling, coordination, logistics, analysis, and reporting, among other tasks.
  • In accordance with VA guidelines, create, staff, manage, disseminate, and maintain a variety of papers, data, processes, and artifacts.
  • Keep a record of all the data that is provided to internal and external organizations.
  • Support executive reports and answers with data and records management.
  • As directed by the office’s senior executives, complete the forms and registrations.
  • When instructed by the office’s senior executives, draft executive summaries, white papers, and memoranda.
  • As assigned, assist with special assignments.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience or a master’s degree

Required knowledge and expertise

  • The candidate should have at least five years of experience supporting leadership and providing communications, preferably in the federal sector.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities, as well as good organizational skills, are required of the candidate.
  • Advanced knowledge of Visio, MS SharePoint, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing.
  • The capacity to gather, assess, and analyze complicated messages, information, and data.
  • The capacity to think creatively while interacting with others or handling a range of situations.
  • A thorough understanding of the tasks, duties, and roles associated with federal consulting assignments.
