Responsibilities:

  • Using Excel, SQL, Access, Tableau, and other data management tools, retrieve and analyze insurance and claim data.
  • Keep an eye on current metrics, find and create new measures, and analyze them in collaboration with internal teams and outside vendors to find possibilities for process and system improvement.
  • Create and deploy ad hoc and recurring/automatic reporting solutions to give leadership and stakeholders the tools they need to run the company and take wise decisions.
  • Assist cross-functional teams with the ongoing implementation of new and existing programs.
  • Lead small- to medium-sized operational improvement initiatives.
  • Look into and put cost-cutting opportunities into practice.

For Amazon enterprises, Global Risk Management & Claims (GRMC) offers insurance and risk management knowledge, direction, and management. For third-party firms or people doing business with Amazon, the 3P Insurance and Claims Team at GRMC offers insurance and claims support.

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a similar analytical field
  • 5+ years of expertise using data visualization tools like Tableau and Excel, including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, and power pivots
  • Undergraduate degree
  • knowledge of formulating needs and obtaining business insights from data and metrics
  • SQL expertise Ability to persuade stakeholders and make business recommendations
  • 3+ years of expertise in auto insurance claims data reporting and analytics

FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional verbal and textual communication
  • The capacity to persuade potential allies
  • Extensive knowledge of tools for data reporting and data visualization, such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Quicksight
