A very competitive base pay and a comprehensive benefits package are included with the Accounting Manager position. This position is also entirely remote, with just sporadic travel required to job sites in the San Diego county area.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the procedures of data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation to assist in the creation of GAAP financial statements.
• Produce invoices in compliance with each project contract (including contracts for commercial and public works).
• Maintain the company’s payroll and HR systems while processing payroll for 30 employees.
• A range of project accounting analyses, methods, and policies should be put together.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, or a comparable combination of training and/or education.
• Recent relevant financial experience of 5+ years
• Strong preference for project accounting experience
• Prior knowledge with Deltek Ajera is preferred but not necessary (QuickBooks is fine).
• Human resources and payroll processing experience are a must.
