Responsibilities:

Since we’re a startup, you’ll need to be willing to get your hands dirty and do everything it takes to forward our goals. Leading the way in creating state-of-the-art technologies for the customer experience, Rasa enhances our widely used open-source conversational AI platform. The company’s sustained growth will be facilitated by the Accounting Manager’s leadership in implementing and refining accounting processes. It is expected of you as an accounting manager to:

• Provide and oversee all facets of revenue recognition, sales tax determination, billing queries, collections, and remitting for customers.
• Including budget owner approvals, vendor inquiries, and payment initiating, oversee every facet of accounts payable.
• Help with publishing journal entries and GL reconciliations, among other month-end closing procedures.
• Keep track of and report to management on various financial facts.
• Through a variety of connectors, manage and improve Netsuite best practices, procedures, and system automation.
• In the upcoming years, assemble an elite accounting staff.

Requirements:

• Having an accounting degree and being a CPA is advantageous.
• 5–10 years of expertise in bookkeeping.
• Three plus years of Salesforce and Netsuite experience.
• Familiarity with SaaS (software as a service).
• Knowledge of accounting for multiple currencies.
• A strong self-starter who can efficiently manage their own workload and perform well under duress.
