Every year, about 300 patients get autologous and allogeneic transplants from Stanford’s BMT program. For all supported current SOM initiatives, the Accountant 1 will draft and oversee monthly reports and financial statements pertaining to CTF. In all matters relating to CTF Research bills, invoicing, purchase orders, consultant agreements, significant equipment purchases, and MOUs, this job will serve as a liaison between University and Hospital officials. The Accountant 1 will be proficient in Quickbooks, have solid Excel skills, and have worked with contracts before.

Responsibilities:

  • In order to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness, review, process, collect, and assemble accounting transactions and documentation. Participate in the creation of analyses that will be applied to important tasks or choices.
  • Determine the accounting concerns, rank them in order of importance, go beneath the surface, find the underlying problems, identify any exceptions, and conduct preliminary analysis.
  • Using financial reports, financial databases, and important financial information often from several systems, run, maintain, reconcile, evaluate, combine, analyze, and validate financial data sets. aid in the creation of reports including fundamental management information.
  • Find and fix data abnormalities, irregularities in the journal, departures from standard operating methods, and odd problems.
  • Gather information and conduct research on transaction specifics. Make ensuring that the job complies with intricate external rules and internal policies, some of which may need to be interpreted.
  • Act as a point of contact for other departments to handle accounting-related problems.

Requirements:
