POSITION OBJECTIVE: Conduct research, compose persuasive copy, edit it for errors, and proofread it for use in promotional materials for Delta Vacations in print, online, via email, on video, and in print. Ensure conformity to the Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and the Delta Vacations trademark. Create and deliver internal communications as well.
Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in team meetings and project initiation meetings on a regular basis.
- Ensure that all of Delta Vacations’ marketing, sales, and partnership advertising materials have correct and full information by collaborating with the design team, Partnership Marketing, and marketing project managers. used to following creative guidance.
- Learn everything there is to know about the Delta Vacations, Delta Air Lines, and partner brands. Then, use that knowledge to communicate effectively with both B2B and consumer audiences through a range of media platforms.
- Make sure the material complies with the creative brief, brand personas, and customer journey stages.
- Make sure all copy is SEO-optimized, and keep an eye out for the best copywriting techniques.
- Delta Vacations location, hotel, and activity descriptions, as well as text for B2B and consumer mailings, should all be written, proofread, and fact-checked.
- Organize numerous projects with a tight timeframe.
- Other tasks and obligations as they are allocated, which may involve collaboration with different departments or within the same department.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare presentations where you can showcase marketing ideas that support Delta Vacations’ corporate goals.
Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)
- Equires a high school diploma or a general education diploma (GED).
- A four-year college or university bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a similar discipline; equivalent work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience writing marketing copy for businesses internally or for advertising agencies must be at least 3 to 5 years old.
- Experience writing consumer and B2B copy for a variety of audiences and media platforms while adhering to brand guidelines is necessary.
- Ability to think creatively, work with others to solve challenges, and finish projects swiftly and on time.
- must exhibit proficient writing, grammar, and proofreading abilities in English.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with coworkers in an effective and professional manner, as well as show sound judgment.
- Strong PC/MAC and publishing skills are necessary, as well as expert knowledge of MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
