A passion for developing solid solutions to difficult security challenges as well as the capacity to swiftly design and construct solutions are required to address security concerns of this size and pace.
To make sure that our customers’ security is always a top priority, CS Security is seeking security engineers. We hold incidents to the highest standards in order to uphold and improve consumer trust both within and outside. This position will give you the challenging opportunity to work with top-notch talent in solving complex and wide-ranging problems if you enjoy analyzing, engineering, and architecting solutions to deliver results faster and are skilled at examining security issues and new threat scenarios. A candidate that is chosen will have a solid combination of in-depth technical expertise and experience in Security Engineering and Architecture activities. In the US, this is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the technical investigation lifecycle as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), taking charge of the deep dive and coordination to transform data into information.
- Respond to incidents quickly while directing and advising all security analysts.
- Perform in-depth analyses of threat and fraud misuse reports and detections
- Encourage service teams all around Amazon to create procedures and systems that adhere to security best practices.
- Participate in internal and external security engineering and response training.
- Investigate ways to get better based on extensive security incident investigations.
- lead or take part in post-mortem investigations.
- Create and construct security-related services for internal clients.
- Develop and mentor other software developers, security analysts, investigators, and engineers.
Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Five or more years of experience in technical fields relevant to security, including threat hunting, threat intelligence, and data analysis.
- 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies (preferable AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Five or more years’ worth of expertise performing security analyses on cloud services, particularly server-less and authentication services.
- Three or more years of experience with technologies and tools for data analysis, such as SQL, Jupyter, R, and Python.
- 3+ years of expertise with real-world situations, active threats, and computer security applications
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- A master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related engineering field.
- Proficiency in network and host log analysis.
- Ongoing connections with international organizations pertinent to the position.
- Expertise and practical expertise with hunting tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Knowledge of adversary methods, threat modeling, reverse engineering, malware analysis, system design, security architecture, incident handling, and/or threat intelligence.
- Have a thorough knowledge of standard enterprise technology.
- Comprehensive understanding of threat vectors and computing security challenges.
- Knowledge of AWS’s services and products.
- Knowledge of cross-organizational collaboration and the development of corrective action plans.
