A Marketing Systems Operations (CMX) – Lead Director position is available at CVS Media Exchange. This position will report to the Executive Director, Operations.

To achieve measurable results for our vendors, retailers, stores, general managers, brand marketers, and agencies, CVS Media Exchange [CMX] is committed. Our full-funnel ad solutions make use of the huge reach and in-store and online data from CVS to deliver quantifiable outcomes for our clients. These solutions, which offer a variety of adaptable pricing and purchasing options, including self-service, assist companies in raising brand recognition, interacting with CVS customers, and turning CVS customers into customers.

Responsibilities:

You will oversee the development of internal business tools and systems for CMX in this role. In order to create new and enhanced processes and systems that will support the overarching business objectives, you will work in collaboration with the various CMX and CVS teams to collect business requirements. To drive the strategic vision and underlying architecture for how the various CMX business systems should interface with one another, you will act as a player-coach. You will work closely with stakeholders across CMX and CVS Enterprise and report to the executive director of operations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Among other things, responsibilities include managing CMX’s business systems technology.
  • Design and construction roadmap for technical systems architecture
  • To support internal business systems and tools, develop support for CMX business data delivery systems.
  • Recognize the requirements of the business team and create processes to improve daily workflows.
  • Configure additional systems, such as order management and SFDC, to support a sophisticated, multi-channel sales operation.
  • For the CMX business unit, create a scalable data model that will ensure data accuracy and minimize data silos and fragmentation.
  • To find, put into practice, and integrate solutions, collaborate with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders.

Work from home is an option for this position. It might be located nearby one of our corporate hubs or distant in the United States. You must work in the office two or more days a week if you can commute to one of the following Corporate Hubs: Wellesley, MA, Woonsocket, RI, Hartford, CT, Buffalo Grove, IL, Northbrook, IL, Scottsdale, AZ, Irving, TX, or New York, NY.

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows:

  • At least 100,000
  • Up to 227,000

Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.

Requirements:

Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership
  • Developing software system architectures over 7+ years
  • 3+ years of experience with CRM, order management, and ad serving platforms in sales and revenue operations.
  • 1+ years of expertise with BI/Reporting tools and data warehousing
  • Rally and other project management software systems experience of at least one year
  • Experience with agile iterative development approaches for at least one year
  • 1+ years of experience leading productive teams

Preferred Requirements

  • Media experience in retail
  • A self-starter who is exceedingly detail-oriented and at ease assuming responsibility for tasks and projects
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbally and in writing, and the capacity to interact successfully with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High sense of responsibility, urgency, and drive
  • Being able to convert intricate, multi-layered business requirements into technology solutions
  • Prior knowledge of digital media; prior knowledge of retail media is a plus

Education

HS diploma and four years of experience are sufficient, although a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
