Obtain and save up-to-date sales tax exemption certificates from clients, and precisely identify every goods in light of the different kinds of certificates.

Responsibilities:

• Examine incoming tax exemption certificates and assess their legitimacy using your knowledge of state laws and regulations.
• Using knowledge of tax rules and information about the nature of the customer’s business and the things they have purchased, determine the proper tax status, such as resale, exempt, or taxable.

Requirements:

• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook must be used effectively.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, Checkpoint, Tandem, and Discoverer software is helpful but not necessary.
• Strong interpersonal ties with both internal and external associates must be developed and maintained, which calls for excellent communication skills.
• Gotta be an extremely motivated person.
