The Account Executive, Music Partnerships will work with a highly recognized telecom and entertainment client as part of CAA’s Brand Consultancy group in Los Angeles. The candidate will collaborate with internal account leads to manage the client’s portfolio of Hispanic marketing Latin music sponsorships, which includes local music festivals and national music tours. Coordinating program/project timetables, collaborating closely with partners and vendors, organizing and managing onsite activations, and offering dependable, excellent customer service and communications to clients and stakeholders are all part of the job description.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the given deliverables for local music festivals, national music tours, and/or media rights, such as branded activations, ticket banks, etc.
- When required by account leads, facilitate regular and thorough communication with clients, partners’ and vendors’ contacts, and internal teams (e.g., status updates, recaps, follow-ups, etc.).
- Develop activation decks, campaign go-to-market strategies, program/event summaries, presentations for important internal and external meetings, etc.
- Provide reports to show campaign progress and KPI success; forecast, assess, and analyze program impact.
- Work together with internal teams as necessary to ensure efficient execution of national programming and events.
- Verify that all agency procedures, such as vendor contracts, accounting procedures, recaps, etc., are being followed.
- The ability to think critically at the highest level while demonstrating proactivity, attention to detail, and the capacity to operate both independently and in a collaborative situation.
- As required, assist the senior music partnerships team members.
Requirements:
- Strong preference for a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years’ experience working with clients; promotion of live music is a plus.
- Highly preferred: agency or property experience.
- Experience directly dealing with clients and good relationship-building abilities.
- Strategic and creative thinker.
- Strong presenting and writing abilities.
- The capacity to multitask and maintain focus in a hectic atmosphere.
- Self-starter who can also follow instructions.
- Very organized and detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on meeting deadlines and producing deliverables.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) proficiency is necessary, with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel.
- Up to 25% of the job requires travel, both locally and nationally.
- A plus is having an interest in Latin music and multicultural marketing.
- Spanish and English fluency is preferred.
LOCATION
On Monday through Thursday, this employee will work from the Los Angeles office, with the option to work from home on Friday.
COMPENSATION
This position’s base pay ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 annually. Benefits and a bonus are also available for this employment. In the end, the pay may differ depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to appropriate experience, time spent in the position, company industry, and geographic region.
