We are a varied group of seasoned academics and engineers working remotely at the nexus of cutting-edge Zero Knowledge technology and P2P networks. In an effort to “untie the knot” of incentive storage, we are developing the next generation storage engine. In order to advance the state of the art of decentralized storage solutions, we want to create a more sophisticated decentralized storage protocol.

In particular, distributed databases, blockchains, and peer-to-peer storage networks are all examples of the types of sophisticated distributed network deployments that we are searching for an experienced distributed testing engineer with hands-on expertise putting up, running, and testing.

Responsibilities:

• Do simulations and tests on various peer-to-peer algorithms and protocols that are being developed Gather data and critical findings from these tests, analyze it, and report on it
• Determine scalability limits and failure mechanisms for distributed systems that have been tested in real-world settings.
• Establish best testing procedures by collaborating with third-party vendors, tool developers, and the larger community. Publish findings for stakeholders and the public to read.

Requirements:

• Solid experience testing distributed systems and understanding their typical failure modes
• Solid documentation and communication abilities when presenting data and important conclusions
• The capacity to spot and address erroneous assumptions or flaws in a series of studies or tests
• Networking protocol and P2P system knowledge Knowledge with or experience with Nim and/or Rust
• Linux knowledge and/or familiarity with Docker
• A committed adherence to our beliefs

Bonus points if

• Extra points are awarded if You are familiar with Terraform, Ansible, or other automated deployments platforms.
• You have experience using CI/CD software such as Jenkins, GitLab, and AWS CodeDeploy.
