Position Description:

As a Digital Copywriter, you will be a part of the Target Creative team, helping to define one of the world’s most powerful brands’ digital presence. You will develop creative and successful digital content for Target.com, email marketing, and other digital platforms. You will write in the Target brand voice while maintaining a clear, concise, and easy-to-navigate messaging strategy in editorial and promotional material. You will be regarded as an authority and resource on e-commerce and digital writing best practices. You will also assist in the conversion of campaigns to digital-specific executions, customizing and applying the work across categories. You’ll be expected to combine consumer insights/data with creative best practices, as well as quickly adapt to change priorities and create excellent relationships with business partners across the enterprise.

We’re looking for the following:

• 4 years of college and/or comparable job experience
• 1-3 years of digital/ecommerce copywriting experience – or a proven digital writing background
• Demonstrated ability to use a consistent brand voice across different digital-based channels.
• Approach to communications that prioritizes the user experience and the capacity to write strategically
• Understanding of best practices in ecommerce and digital marketing
• Capability to learn and master the unique processes and tools required for day-to-day job
• Passion for and competence to work within a weekly publication schedule
• Sample portfolio exhibiting exceptional digital writing work
