This job will make use of the Enterprise Agile resources and associated advice provided by Cigna in order to guarantee consistency of practices. It will be necessary for you to actively collaborate with the Enterprise Agile team to co-create and improve any training or reference materials. Lastly, this coach should exhibit fundamental Lean-Agile principles in all interactions, using both proactive and reactive coaching techniques as necessary. To do this, our team and our constituents will need to apply foresight, insight, and hindsight in order to continuously improve.
Responsibilities:
- By evaluating maturity levels, devising and implementing appropriate processes, and creating cycles for continuous improvement, give direct coaching to several product/service teams in order to increase effectiveness.
- Provides important agile positions at all organizational levels and in all areas with expert coaching as needed.
- Aids in the locating, gathering, and reporting of agile practice metrics and measurements.
- Organizes agile events, takes part in them, contributes to the websites and tools used for communication, and makes presentations to stakeholders all around the company.
- Identifies scaling-related obstacles and works to remove them.
- Engage in active opportunity discovery through dialogue, instruction, and networking.
- When appropriate, offers senior leadership guidance and assistance on critical issues that frequently call for cooperation amongst companies.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience coaching agile teams at different organizational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written facilitation abilities.
- Knowledge of a variety of agile visualization technologies, including Version One, Rally, and Jira/Jira Align.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated aptitude at resisting resistance and putting up a fight.
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate, adapt, and communicate with business stakeholders, technology, and leadership across functional boundaries
- Proven ability to strike a balance between technical expertise and commercial savvy
- Ability to strike a balance between the needs of independent teams and the organizational direction of the firm.
- Knowledge of directing the proper and appropriate use of agile methods and practices.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Experience in enterprise coaching in cross-organizational agile transformations, with an emphasis on working with senior leadership sponsors and stakeholders to communicate and collaborate.
- Agile certifications are widely desired, such as those from the ICAgile, SAFe, Scrum/Scrum Alliance, and/or Kanban University.
- Familiarity with product strategy
- Coaching experience at a major coaching organization.
- Prior expertise in directing or managing sizable Change Management initiatives.
Whether you intend to work from home on a regular basis or infrequently, you must have an internet connection from a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps, respectively.
We anticipate paying this position’s annual compensation between 101,400 and 169,000 USD, based on important aspects like experience and location.
Additionally, it is anticipated that this position will qualify for the yearly bonus program.
