Responsibilities:

To support, engage, coach, and grow high performing teams of Flight Attendants, In-Flight Service is looking for people with demonstrated servant leadership qualities. The major source of assistance for the Flight Attendant workforce is the Field Service Manager. The chosen applicant must be a personable, outgoing leader with a track record of upholding Delta’s Rules of the Road and cultivating a culture of mutual respect among teammates. Also, this position calls for employing performance management technologies, as well as available operational and customer service indicators, to enhance staff performance. Range of salaries: $79,200 to $123,000

Requirements:

  • Applicants for this position should possess a GED or high school graduation, at the very least.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO GET AN EDGE IN THE MARKET (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Preferable qualifications include two years of in-flight service experience, three years of Delta experience, or previous external managerial experience.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have the ability to manage various priorities that change and fluctuate in a dynamic setting.
  • Be able to make informed decisions under duress in situations where time is of the essence.
  • Should have previous tutoring and providing constructive criticism experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required, in addition to good verbal and writing communication abilities.
  • You must be an expert user of common Microsoft Office programs and have working understanding of any programs that are unique to Delta.
  • If not already trained as a flight attendant, you must successfully complete your initial training and keep your certifications.
  • To maintain a 24/7 global business, one must be able and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
