We are a remote team, therefore although we hire people from all over the world, the location of this position is preferred to be in the UK, the US East Coast, or Europe.

The part

In order to help Monax strengthen its position in the industry, we are looking for a Front End Engineer who has a love for NFTs and Web 3. You will be essential to the development of the Aspen front end, address difficult UX issues, and interact with external clients on issues pertaining to the front end.

Aspen is a web3 infrastructure platform developed by Monax Labs that serves as an NFT minting, management, and transactional platform. With Aspen’s no-code Web3 and legal tools, brands, businesses, artists, and fans will be able to launch Web3 ventures on their own terms.

View of the Stack

More important than specific expertise are your basic competencies. Typescript (front end and API), Rust, Solidity, OpenZeppelin, Postgres, React, Kubernetes, and Helm are the current technologies we employ.

You will work with Typescript, React JS, Web3 React, Chakra UI, Recoil, and React Query in this position.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the creation of our NFT Creation Tools

• Lessen obstacles for new users
• Create tests that aren’t disruptive.
• Be a resource for our clients regarding Aspen
• Provide proof-of-concept materials that are well documented and eliminate client friction.
• Create frontend elements that communicate with smart contracts and chain events directly.
• Work on our application’s high-impact features to deliver a first-rate user experience.
• Make sure the UI/UX designs are technically feasible.
• Constructing reliable and manageable components and libraries
• Ensure top performance on a variety of devices and browsers

Requirements:

• A front end engineer with three or more years of experience designing web3 decentralized apps
• Knowledge of Typescript
• Knowledge of Javascript frameworks like React JS
• Being patient, sincere, and appreciating effort
• Self-direction
• A dedication to creating amazing products and customer experiences
• Brings a good attitude to the team and finds satisfaction in giving, teaching, and watching others succeed.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment Good organizational skills and a high attention to detail Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with external clients

Great to have:

• Knowledge of and proficiency with Solidity smart contracts
• Knowledge about a high-growth, venture-funded technology or fintech startup

Extensive experience working with NFTs in a personal or professional situation It’s critical that you have the ability to participate in, and occasionally lead, respectful conversations with coworkers. You have the freedom to alter your thinking.
