Position Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for balancing Forecasting, Planning, and Automation in order to establish scalable and sustainable forecasting and planning processes and tools. You will work with people from all levels of the business to create project requirements for processes and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Build short and long-term forecast models (e.g., Plex, SQL, Python, etc.) for network infrastructure demand by collaborating with technical teams controlling Google’s data center network.
• Create predictions and inventory targets using best practices (e.g., statistical models, processes, and software tools).
• Collaborate closely with customers and partner teams to identify gaps and promote improvements to data center networking planning procedures.
• Create and manage dashboards/tools to track metrics such as accuracy, variance, service levels of expected demand, and insights to drive improvements over time.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with software development teams to identify requirements and prioritize work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, a similar subject, or comparable practical experience are required.
• 5 years of project management experience is required.
• Expertise with Supply Chain Planning, including aggregating supply/demand and other functions that aid in the planning of sourcing, production, and delivery requirements.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.) for forecast modeling.
• MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Information Management is preferred.
• Expertise driving cross-functional process improvement projects from concept to implementation and adoption.
• Strong communication and data analytics skills, as well as the ability to operate successfully across many levels of the business.
