Position Description:
As a member of an agile team, you will work with a learning experience designer and a learning design writer as they manage several projects at once, all of which are in varying stages of development. You’ll be designing prototypes, getting input, revising drafts, presenting concepts, going to meetings, and participating in sprint celebrations. There will be chances to develop systems and enhance procedures. You’ll put your skills to work by producing media-rich, user-facing material for college and career preparedness solutions, such as animations, interactives, films, and audio files, as well as compelling graphics and interactives. You will have the chance to develop top-notch, open learning experiences by utilizing innovative thinking, creativity, and an entrepreneurial attitude.
Important Tasks and Responsibilities:
- engages in the creation of transformative learning experiences as part of a cross-functional, agile design team.
- To inform and align with intended product goals and outcomes, team/project leads and others are consulted.
- Utilizes interactive online technology expertly to combine text, graphics, sound, and video.
- explains how evidence-based judgments are made in media design.
- regularly seeks out unstructured and organized feedback from different sources and modifies as necessary.
- quickly generates a variety of design concepts for stakeholder evaluation, AB testing, and usability testing.
- helps to create and write scripts and storyboards.
- ensures that designs are technically feasible.
- final media that adheres to style rules and is prepared for online and mobile delivery.
- Utilizes and promotes industry best practices for media production, continually improving the caliber of our output.
- teaches creation and editing procedures and offers advice, suggestions, and templates.

Skills, Knowledge, and Capabilities
- understanding of HTML 5, CSS 3, and JS as they relate to various browsers and screen resolutions
- Expert in visual communication, layout, and design for a variety of assets, including (and is not limited to slide decks, templates, infographics, videos, motion graphics, webpages, worksheets).
- experience designing and producing multimedia content, including graphics, animation, audio, and video, for web development, mobile applications, and/or e-learning.
- skill at the expert level with Adobe Creative Suite and other digital design tools, such as video, animation, and audio editing programs.
- excellent interpersonal, communication, and presenting abilities.
- Ability to collaborate and think creatively in an agile, quick-paced setting.
- understanding of web and software development.
Qualifications:
- an advanced degree in digital media, adult education, instructional design, or a related field, without experience, or a bachelor’s degree and two or more years of relevant work experience in media, educational technology, or marketing
- Application must be accompanied with a strong multimedia portfolio of unique, interactive digital resources, ideally with animations and samples of interactive learning content.
- knowledge of HTML 5, JS 3, xAPI, and CSS coding.
- 2+ years of experience in media production and design at the highest level
- experience designing LMS/UI
- a track record of using inclusive content guidelines and accessibility standards
