Position Description:
This position will assist in developing Journeys and frameworks through the use of information architectures, design systems, low to high fidelity prototypes, task and workflow modeling, rapid iterative usability testing, in-depth testing, best-practice implementation, and by working with development teams, business stakeholders, strategy, research, product, and analytics teams.
Important Functions
- Encourage collaboration with CDX Strategists, CDX Researchers, the Experience Management & Capability team, and the corresponding Experience Design team members to produce Service Design deliverables (for example, Service Blueprints) for numerous Journeys (for example, 3+) in a given Experience that are integrated, cross-touchpoint, cross-customer type, and cross-experience/journey.
- Organize, carry out, and incorporate user research into the creation of the relevant Journeys.
- To effectively communicate the vision, logic, and features of the products or services being produced, lead the use of Design Thinking, storytelling, and conceptual prototypes.
- Lead the development and acceptance of design systems, website interaction models, information architectures, user task flows, and screen designs; transform complex data into comprehensible visuals, charts, and other types of data visualization.
- Drive the creation of low- and medium-fidelity prototypes to test suggested Journeys; drive the usage of ideation and sketching for storyboards and prototyping.
- Serving as an advocate for these standards, principles, and processes, lead the adaptation of enterprise-wide UX best practices, standards, principles, and design thinking processes for usage by the corresponding UX, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Mentor UX designers in the creation of unique and alluring user experiences, as well as the deliverables that go along with them: wireframes, information architecture diagrams, user flows, comps, and prototypes. Mentor and train the UX designers in the interpretation and incorporation of user research into their designs.
- Collaborate with peers in Strategy, Product, and Engineering to create active teamwork, remove roadblocks, and guarantee the achievement of the overall Experience vision and OKRs. It will also be necessary to establish and maintain cooperative connections with senior leadership and other departments (such as marketing).
- Advocate for the Experience’s/UX Journey’s vision while having the expertise and zeal to convey it to various audiences in a clear, succinct, and compelling manner.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, business, the life sciences, engineering, or a comparable field of study; or, in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma or general education certificate and seven or more years of relevant experience in accordance with the required duties.
- Having worked as a senior UX designer for 7+ years, at least 5 of those years have been spent in the digital space, and you are familiar with the Agile, Scrum, and Kanban techniques.
- extensive knowledge of modern user experience design, discovery, and delivery approaches and methods, as well as proficiency with design and user experience platforms and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Miro).
- strong working understanding of Adobe Creative Suite programs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related design tools.
- showed a thorough awareness of the state of mobile and online technology.
- advanced knowledge of design thinking and human-centered design approaches.
- experience designing in an inclusive, egalitarian, and accessible manner.
- understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of the best design systems (Material, Carbon, Fluent, etc.). experience creating design systems from start or evolving/adapting existing ones.
- extensive problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills; capacity to adapt UX approach in light of research, statistics, and market trends.
- strong analytical abilities, including but not limited to the definition of user and process flows.
- extensive experience converting difficult user, business, operational, and technological requirements into outcomes that are precise, compelling, and unambiguous.
- Experience in fostering relationships, drive, and curiosity to unite diverse personalities for original thought and cooperative problem-solving
- extensive experience interacting constructively and collaboratively with strategists, product managers, engineers, researchers, SMEs, and company leaders so that you can both learn from and influence them.
- having supervised a group of UX designers.
- Excellent communication abilities both in writing and speaking, with the capacity to quickly adjust to the target audience (team member to senior leadership).
- Strong time-management and organizational abilities, as well as the capacity to operate both independently and as part of a team. Proactive and logical attitude to workload.
