Position Description:

You will be a part of a multicultural, multi-technical team of specialists at AELER that are motivated by their goal. We work on everything, including new developments in materials science, logistics, electronics, and artificial intelligence. We are concerned about science, good products, and contributing to society.

As a member of the sales team, your duties will include:

• directing a sales team that includes junior sales, sales development representatives, and sales administration coworkers
• creating sales plans for your team that are supportive of the objectives of the firm
• Setting KPIs for your sales team will ensure that you meet your goals.
• ensuring the success of your team members at Aeler
• Setup and maintain internal team interactions closely, including with Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, etc.
• Effectively convert verified leads into contracts that are signed
• When talking with clients, assist members of the Customer Success team, and in some situations take the lead.
• Participate in POCs with clients

Experience: In order to succeed in this position, you’ll need…

• Business or comparable sector bachelor’s degree practical experience in developing and implementing sales strategies
• an understanding of leading and managing a sales team an understanding of client relationship management
• Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
• English proficiency (verbal and written)
• Working knowledge of any additional languages would be advantageous (French, Spanish, German, etc.)
• knowledge of Salesforce or previous use of any other CRM program
• the ability to successfully turn sales leads into contracts
• Great to have: Some understanding of or expertise with the logistics sector
