The Solution Manager serves as the end user’s internal voice for the Solution Train, collaborating with them to understand and communicate their needs. They also create the Solution Vision, Solution Roadmap, and work flow through the Solution Kanban.
This position reports to the Manage Finance: Receive Alternate Payment Experience Owner Director and is in charge of value-based and capitation initiatives, as well as supporting data structures for claim pricing initiatives. The Capitation and Care Management Incentive Calculator (CCMI), Fee For Value Read Only Data Store (FFV RDS), Pricing Data Mart, and SANP Read Replica are among the Capitation, Value-based Reimbursement assets; these will grow over time as we build out additional solutions under the Experience Led Agile taxonomy.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of content for a Solution initiative
- Validates and comprehends end-user requirements to ensure the highest quality solutions
- The Solution Vision and Roadmap are created and communicated.
- Partners with EGOs and PMs on the Solution’s ARTs to ensure Epic context, prioritization alignment, and proper decomposition into the program backlog.
- Understands and supports portfolio work by collaborating with Stakeholder Owners to develop the business case for Program Epics that have an impact on the Solution. Develop ARTs
- Manages and prioritizes the flow of work through the Solution Kanban is being incorporated into the Solution Backlog.
- Ensures that Program Epics are written, ready for implementation, and incorporated into the Solution Backlog.
- Has editorial authority over the Solution Backlog and the authority to make editorial decisions.
- Reviews and updates the Program Epic definitions, and creates new ones. Acceptance Criteria for Backlog Epics
- Determines the enablers required by new Program Epics and allocates capacity to them.
- Works with the Solution Architect to determine the scope of the enabler.
- Participates in pre- and post-program increment (PI) planning, solution demonstrations, and inspection and adaptation (I&As)
- Program Epics are scheduled for release.
- Creates a strong and effective team of Solution Management/Experience Group Owners.
Requirements:
- Strong business skills and experience are required, as well as a thorough understanding of the business functions and capabilities supported by the components of the capitation and value-based reimbursement systems, as well as the data stores supporting claim pricing systems.
- Previous experience working with technology teams is preferred, as is the ability and desire to learn how to work with technology teams.
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience in the healthcare field are required.
- Prior experience with capitation and value-based reimbursement, as well as working knowledge of capitation systems, is preferred.
- Capability to translate business requirements and rules into actionable business rules and requirements
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship management abilities
- Strong teamwork, negotiation, and leadership abilities
- Ability and experience working across different functional areas in a matrix environment Critical thinking in terms of improving end-to-end business processes
- Proven ability to foster collaboration, value other people’s points of view, and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
- Experience with agile is required.
- Flexibility to change course based on business needs; ability to manage and deal with change effectively

We anticipate offering an annual salary of 100,600 – 167,600 USD / yearly for this position, depending on relevant factors such as experience and geographic location.
This position is also expected to be eligible for an annual bonus plan.
