A talented Senior Digital Marketing Manager is needed to join the Amazon Buy with Prime team. We are developing very customer-focused software that can support numerous rapidly expanding enterprises for many years to come. You will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on the next big thing at Amazon as a Digital Marketing Leader for a new initiative with strategic significance and high exposure. Your marketing genius talents will be put to use as you create and carry out digital marketing and acquisition plans!

The incumbent will be at ease in a fast-paced setting, have demonstrated experience planning and carrying out projects across large cross-functional teams, and feel at ease negotiating with important business partners and Amazon teams to achieve alignment on plans and ultimately manage all aspects of the project execution. The ideal applicant is a self-starter who can prioritize tasks, meet deadlines with little oversight, convince, inspire, and motivate people while achieving outcomes.

The chosen applicant must have experience promoting growth using internet, paid media, Amazon-owned channels, and marketing automation schemes. They have a ton of expertise working on big commercial projects in digital marketing and will work independently to establish a roadmap and performance goals. With a start-up mentality, they will be willing to execute directly and will think and act strategically. They will strike a mix between innovation, analytics, and operational discipline. Candidates should have a strong sense of accountability, be both idea generators and builders, and have a laser-like focus on providing outstanding customer experiences and solid, demonstrable results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage external vendors and agencies, allocate budget, design strategy, conduct in-depth analysis of outcomes, and continue optimization for digital acquisition programs (such as Pay Per Click-PPC, programmatic media buys, paid social, Amazon Owned and Operated channels, etc.).
    Create coordinated marketing plans for paid, owned, and earned channels that support business objectives and brand and customer acquisition goals.
  • Omni-channel marketing initiatives should be developed and managed for the whole customer journey.
  • Track the success of the marketing effort as a whole against KPIs and let the team know the outcomes.
  • Together with other Amazon Owned and Operated channels and other cross-functional teams, develop a partnership marketing program.
  • Create a strong culture of quick experimentation, measurement, and iteration; use data to gauge and comprehend consumer behavior; then, implement and disseminate these learnings for use in our marketing lever.
  • Results-driven, with a drive to develop broad expertise and collaborate across departments in the Marketing organization.
  • Has strong analytical and quantitative abilities as well as great verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • An undergraduate degree.
  • 8+ years of expertise running programs for digital acquisition.
  • PPC, paid media, media buying, display, and mobile advertising programmatic experience
  • Experience creating complicated marketing programs across numerous channels in the digital/martech arena.
  • Knowledge of conversion optimization techniques.

FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • An advanced degree.
  • Experience with mobile/eCommerce products and B2B SaaS.
  • Working knowledge of an agile, active team environment with regular customer interaction.
  • coding expertise in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for websites.
  • understanding of Adobe Cloud services (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, AEM).
  • Working familiarity with current best practices for web architecture (e.g. design for security, resilience, performance).

The pay range in Jersey City for this career is $125,400 – $169,600/year; however, the base salary offered may change depending on the knowledge, skills, and experience associated to the work. Depending on the position being offered, the pay package may include a sign-on bonus and restricted stock units in addition to a comprehensive array of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The Pay Transparency Regulation of the Jersey City Municipal Code requires the provision of this information. Market location determines base wage information. Our pay is in line with the cost of labor in different US regions. In our lowest geographic area, the basic salary for this position is $112,800 per year, whereas in our top geographic region, it is $186,500 per year. Pay is based on a number of variables, including market location, and may change in accordance with knowledge, abilities, and experience pertinent to the position.
