The College’s compensation systems, policies, and processes will be developed and maintained under the direction of the compensation analyst. The person filling this position will need to be data-driven, compassionate toward others, prioritize the College’s financial well-being and its goals, and be familiar with its culture. This job will act as the main point of contact for questions about classification and pay. For a compensation specialist with experience creating compensation plans and protocols, this is a distinctive and fascinating opportunity. A new ATS Workday will be introduced by the Compensation Analyst.

Responsibilities:

-Determines the best organizational structure, designs the jobs, and carries out all job re-leveling, market pricing, and calibration procedures.

-Offers direction, coordination, and support to ensure that job classification and compensation rules and practices are applied correctly and consistently.

-Researches and evaluates the market’s competitive pay practices.

-Coordinates and implements activities to reach predetermined deadlines, goals, and objectives.

-Preserves openness and pay equity.

-Provides firm information to surveys on pay and perks.

-Assists managers in creating precise and useful job descriptions.

-Controls all employees’ pay increases and salary structures.

Performs salary modeling and job analysis.

-Retains employees by analyzing trends in compensation packages to ensure industry competition.

-Discusses programming issues and data integrity with the HR Information Systems Analyst in relation to compensation data.

Additional abilities & credentials:

While analyzing the compensation plan for about 1,100 employees, the compensation analyst will be putting their new ATS Workday into practice.

This worker must have patience, be meticulous, and write well while communicating with their manager.

Requirements:

• Compensation analyst with four years’ experience necessary.

• Prior higher education experience is a plus

• Wide-ranging expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research techniques.

• Comprehensive understanding of the laws, rules, and best practices relating to human resources.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong time- and project-management abilities.

• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable programs.

• The capacity to maintain information privacy.

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management, or a related field.
