Position Description:

As a result of the significant development that Nearpod is currently experiencing, we are looking for a Temporary Curriculum Coordinator to join the content team. In order to support new content efforts, you will be largely in charge of reviewing, modifying, and reformatting current course materials. Additionally, you can be in charge of creating fresh lesson plans for Nearpod and Flocabulary content.

Responsibilities:

• By reviewing, editing, and reformatting current educational materials with an eye for consistency, style, and factual correctness, you can support content projects.
• Write additional material to fill in any holes in the lesson’s content, such as quiz questions, reading passages, vocabulary definitions, etc.
• On occasion, conduct research and produce new lesson materials, including scripts for instructional videos and/or supplementary resources.

Qualifications

• Experience investigating and fact-checking content that has been written or edited in the past Experience meeting deadlines
• strong communication abilities in both writing and spoken (Copyediting experience is a bonus)
• the desire to learn and the growth attitude
• strong planning and analytical abilities
