Qualifications:
- a bachelor’s degree in any field
- Successful enterprise/institutional sales experience for at least two years; prior K–12 education sales experience desirable.
- Intermediate showing computer-based education strategies
- mastery of video conferencing technologies, web-based presentation tools, and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking
- powerful analytical and problem-solving abilities
- outstanding interpersonal abilities and high levels of emotional intelligence
Responsibilities:
- Helps the account executive create and manage a sales pipeline with schools to spur the K–12 business’s organic growth.
- 20% of the time, I travel inside states.
- uses a prospecting technique that includes cold calling, client recommendations, emails, and networking to find new business prospects.
- keeps up knowledge of the product portfolio from Varsity Tutors, the educational sector, and variables affecting the market environment.
- Engages important stakeholders with the help of efficient consultative approaches, such as pre-call preparation and fruitful questioning techniques that result in company success.
- conducts consultative sales conversations to identify Varsity Tutors’ differentiators, learn about the needs of the consumer, and make product recommendations that are suitable for school clients.
- Recognizes the K-12 procurement process and provides sales leadership and the executive team with precise forecasts of forthcoming customer activity.
- Utilizes Salesforce to precisely track actions, communications, market data, and important concerns relating to customers.

- works in conjunction with coworkers from various departments to increase effectiveness and create a positive client experience.
- collects client input to fully comprehend the customer experience, then shares learnings with the field sales team to guide go-to-market strategy and product improvements.
