Job Description:

You are vital to the customer service process as a delivery driver/merchantiser by offering the best possible delivery experience. Along with developing relationships and preserving Total Wine & More’s brand outside of the shop, you will quickly, safely, and professionally transport the customers’ purchases. While not making deliveries, you will handle freight, stock shelves, choose and package online orders, and assist in keeping all floor merchandise and inventory standards to keep the store tidy and orderly. You’ll answer to the management team of the store.

You will

• Greeting and building a relationship with clients is how we provide customer service when delivering our items.
• Drive safely, obey all traffic and safety regulations, and be able to drive in any bad weather.
• Keep TWM vehicles clean and safe on the road; follow all corporate rules and regulations.
• Check ID when delivering alcohol to avoid selling alcohol to a minor and to refuse delivering to drunken or minor consumers.
• When consumers place online orders, load, tag, and deliver the goods; handle delivery inventory discrepancies
• Save all of the vehicle check forms, including the pre-inspection, damage check, and sign-in/out forms.
• Select and package online orders, and arrange for curbside and in-store pickups.
• Complete the freight process, making sure the sorting area is secure and well-organized, unloading truck trailers, loading carts, and distributing to the right places; remove and tag items from the back room and overheads with obvious labels
• Sort and stock aisles according to set rules.
• Break down boxes and bale cardboard; open and stack cases and products.
• Build displays and end caps, check that signage is positioned correctly, clean and maintain goods.

What we seek

• 21 years of age or older*
• Have and keep up a clean motor vehicle record (MVR), which includes three years without a minor traffic infraction and five years without any significant ones.
• When business calls for it, work a flexible schedule that may also be determined by your preference for part-time or full-time hours.
• Knowledge of accessing information required to carry out everyday tasks and using technologies relevant to the role
• Preferably one year of delivery, retail sales associate, merchandiser, or inventory specialist experience, which should include customer greeting and inventory control.
• Excellent people skills combined with an enthusiastic and upbeat demeanor; appreciate teamwork and cooperation.
