Joining the ConsenSys Linea team as a DevOps Engineer will place you in a top-tier technical team with cutting-edge knowledge of a variety of technologies. This position will be responsible for helping the team define and apply DevSecOps best practices throughout the organization. In a field where technology is advancing quickly, this position offers the chance to grow and learn while working with a bright team and facing many challenges. As a member of the worldwide Ethereum community, you will work closely with researchers, engineers, and product owners to develop next-generation networks.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the organization’s implementation of standard DevSecOps best practices.
• Create and oversee software and automation solutions to aid in boosting the development teams’ velocity.
• building multi-regional, multi-cloud provider architecture as code for Ethereum test nets and nodes
• Help the ConsenSys security team as a whole implement modifications for uniformity and compliance (e.g., security scans etc.)

Requirements:

• Over five years of experience in Linux/Unix systems engineering and devops roles Systems
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or a similar program
• Familiarity with a cloud platform such as Azure or Amazon
• Helm and Kubernetes experience
• GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or a similar tool experience
• Familiarity with scripting in Python, NodeJS, Bash, or a similar language
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK (or similar)

Extra credit for

• Working in an agile setting and having experience with GitOps methods (Flux or comparable) as well as DevSecOps tools for code, vulnerability, dependency, and container image scanning
• Knowledge of event streaming (comparable to Kafka)
• Familiarity with functioning Extremely efficient systems Knowledge of Docker and Docker-Compose
