To assist us in treating individuals who are addicted, we are seeking a Nurse Practitioner. When Quit Genius members use Quit Genius telemedicine services, the NP will assist with their care. The NP will provide the member with direct care via prearranged audio/video visits. Among many other duties, the NP will assess if a member is suitable for therapy and perform triage.

Responsibilities:

• Use telehealth to enable real-time, interactive clinical evaluations, treatments, and medication management.
• Develop suitable evaluations, plans of care, and recommendations for patient issues
• Work together with clinical personnel
• Educate patients and make recommendations based on their assessed needs and abilities.
• Help create and execute policies, procedures, standards, and protocols for care and treatment as needed.
• Make use of effective verbal and textual communication techniques
• Ensure that all treated patients’ records are accurate.Take part in utilization evaluations, consultations, and case reviews.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Position, You’ll Need:

• NP License to work in two or more states while holding a DEA license.
• Possess a DATA 2000 Waiver that permits you to care for 275 patients.
• The capacity and desire to hold several state licenses
• Possess a state-issued restricted drug license or be working toward one
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
