We are searching for responsible, organized, detail-oriented people who are keen to learn how to work with complex and sizable data sets. Proficiency with Python and econometrics are prerequisites; familiarity with R and SQL is an added benefit.
These are full-time jobs that need 40 hours a week, and the pay for these employment is hourly. Building data sets and doing applied econometric analysis in conjunction with scientists, economists, and other stakeholders will be taught to you. These abilities will help you write applicable chapters for your dissertation and give you work experience that might be useful for getting a job.
Requirements:
PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS
In order to be eligible for an internship in economics in 2024, candidates must be enrolled in a PhD program at least halfway through and not be employed at the time of application.
DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with reduced-form causal analysis techniques
- Proficiency in SQL Knowledge of R
- Proficiency with Python and a track record of handling big data sets
