On the West Coast, Symplicity is presently looking for an Account Executive. Growing business with specific clients is the responsibility of the Account Executive, a field sales position. The AE will operate from their home office when not on the road. The AE is in charge of creating a sales call strategy, expanding new business lines, and creating a territory plan. The chosen applicant will market Symplicity’s whole line of higher education products while skillfully conveying to clients the company’s value proposition, tactics, services, and goods. To satisfy our clients’ needs, the AE will collaborate with other universities. Customer satisfaction is our top priority at Symplicity, thus when difficulties arise, the Ae will have to take the lead in resolving them and will answer directly to the VP of Sales. We are open to considering candidates from all over the nation for this field sales post.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for expanding commercial relations with current Symplicity customers.
- Show leadership by assembling and supervising teams to support client opportunities.
- Proactively present a successful commercial solution to the client’s ongoing issue.
- Lead and carry out account and market management tasks, identifying and nurturing sales prospects while utilizing partners and specialized resources.
- Promote vertical knowledge in the market and assist in providing the product group and business operations with input on customer needs.
- Involve key partners in account management, fulfillment, and resource allocation.
- Analyze sales projections often and make necessary adjustments in response to results.
Requirements:
- Three to five years of relevant experience selling software to higher education institutions.
- Capability to travel fifty percent of the time. (Two journeys of two to three days each per month.)
- A track record of consistently hitting sales goals and revenue targets, as well as expertise bringing in business from higher education clients.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide useful business solutions based on an enterprise-level comprehension of the operational capacity and overall asset/value portfolio of the client.
- Familiarity with using a CRM system to track activity.
- Vast experience overseeing senior-level large account relationships in higher education.
- Strong commercial sense and a network of current partners, clients, and business associates.
