You will create strong and captivating text as a copywriter at BuildWitt for infrequent internal projects as well as print and digital marketing deliverables for BuildWitts clients. Your work will act as our clients’ voice, telling their narrative in a style that appeals to their target audience.

Working collaboratively with members of the Creative Team, you will produce brand messaging and support client marketing and recruitment efforts under the supervision of the Senior Copywriter. Your ultimate goal is to assist our clients in developing scalable, distinct, and purpose-driven brands by integrating strong text and a distinct brand voice into everything they do.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, proofread, and conceptualize a variety of copy, such as blog posts, social media posts, marketing collateral, web content, and brand messaging.
  • Take part in creative meetings and brainstorming sessions to provide ideas and thoughts for projects for clients.
  • Work together with strategists, art directors, and designers to create visually integrated content that is seamless and guarantees brand consistency across a variety of media.
  • To act as a subject matter expert, stay up to date on client sectors, target consumers, and rival businesses.
  • Copy concepts should be presented, clarified, and defended to clients and creative teams.
  • Create copy for websites and landing pages that is informed by SEO and user intent while working with brand and marketing strategists.

Requirements:

Conditions/Difficult Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, English, or a similar discipline.
  • Five years or more of professional experience required, preferably gained from an agency, in branding and creative copywriting.
  • Capacity to organically incorporate SEO keywords into site content and translate difficult concepts into captivating writing.
  • a flexible writing style and excellent editing and proofreading skills.
  • strong understanding of AP style requirements.
  • Strong time management abilities, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines (preference for expertise with Monday.com or a comparable project management tool).
