Join the Hatch team as a Lead Marketing Analyst and play a crucial role in the data-driven marketing efforts to enhance people’s sleep experience. This position is for someone based in the United States or Canada, with availability during PST/PDT hours. As a Lead Marketing Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage your analytical skills, and work on mission-critical projects. Reporting to the VP of Analytics and Data Insights, you will contribute to high-level discussions and help optimize marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- 6+ years of business analytics experience, with a focus on advertising/marketing objectives
- Experience in consumer ecommerce business
- Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in data manipulation using Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of statistical analysis, algorithms, experiment design, and data analysis best practices
- Strong mix of quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Fluency in data, analytics, and visualization platforms, with expertise in Google Analytics
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and dive into data
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights and recommendations
- Self-starting attitude with the ability to drive projects independently
- Passion for collaboration and building trust with teammates
- Customer empathy and a commitment to using data to understand customer behavior
Requirements:
Within 3 Months:
- Build a strong understanding of the marketing strategy and success metrics
- Conduct ad hoc deep-dives to analyze problems and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver actionable insights
Within 6 Months:
- Synthesize data from various sources into actionable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards for omni-channel marketing programs
- Partner with internal stakeholders to evolve LTV and marketing attribution frameworks
- Present insights to business leaders using various tools
After 1 Year:
- Assist in projects to better understand the customer base and market
- Work closely with Marketing and Product teams throughout product lifecycles
- Identify opportunities for improvement and assist in decision-making
- Create polished, insightful decks/spreadsheets for internal stakeholders
