In this role, you will directly collaborate with warehouse teams in the field, from warehouse leadership to frontline employees, to enhance labor efficiency and minimize waste in areas such as expired products, damage, and loss. You will work closely with site leadership, warehouse division leaders, and the Warehouse COE Sr. Director to improve warehouse performance and meet productivity targets. The role involves deploying the Lighthouse Program site, removing obstacles to labor efficiency, establishing standard operating procedures, and developing warehouse leader capabilities. Additionally, you will track progress, communicate with division warehouse leadership, and replicate best practices across the network. The position requires approximately 50% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment of the Lighthouse Program site to meet warehouse operating expectations.
- Collaborate with site leadership to improve warehouse performance and achieve productivity targets through coaching and development.
- Identify and eliminate obstacles to labor efficiency, including operational flow, equipment, layout, capability, and performance management.
- Implement standard operating procedures and performance metrics, measuring execution for long-term sustainability in labor, service, and inventory management.
- Enhance location Warehouse leader capability, knowledge, and proficiency.
- Integrate COE tools into warehouse operations in partnership with COE program owners.
- Identify waste reduction opportunities and implement solutions with site leadership.
- Monitor action plan completion and site execution.
- Regularly inform division warehouse leadership on performance, action plans, and support needed.
- Establish and replicate best practices across the warehouse network.
- Achieve productivity targets and support AOP build by identifying productivity tactics in collaboration with the field.
- Provide direct support to 5-10 warehouse locations through onsite visits and remote assistance.
- Deliver $1MM-$2MM per year in productivity improvements in partnership with warehouse leadership.
- Standardize warehouse operating procedures and performance metrics.
- Enhance warehouse leadership and frontline capability through training and coaching.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Logistics, or Business.
- 5+ years of Supply Chain experience (Operations, Logistics) with the ability to manage multiple complexities.
- Proven operations and leadership experience.
- Solid functional knowledge in warehouse operations, inventory control, and management.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- Self-directed, results-oriented, and motivated.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Approximately 50% travel required for this role.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Expected compensation range: $98,700 – $165,150 (based on a full-time schedule).
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
