As a Technical Support Specialist at Hilton, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless onboarding and support of our partners. Your responsibilities will include:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Review Swagger files and effectively interpret and translate their contents for both new and existing partners.
• Analyze transaction logs and other data to provide guidance to partners on onboarding and production support issues.
• Identify potential process and system improvements.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with partners and business stakeholders to facilitate quick and efficient partner onboarding, ensuring they use Hilton’s APIs as intended.
• Meet with business stakeholders and strategic partners to proactively address projects, issues, and touchpoints.

Projects You Will Lead:

• Facilitate direct connections with partners, such as new travel agencies approved to book Hilton brands.
• Manage partner connections via switches, where intermediaries act on behalf of travel agencies to access Hilton’s APIs.

Requirements:

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology.
• Experience in technical product support or similar external-facing collaboration.
• Proficiency with REST APIs.
• Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology-related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology-related experience.
• Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field.
• Previous hospitality experience, including familiarity with Global Distribution Systems and/or Online Travel Agencies.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with numerous Travel Agencies, understanding their unique needs and functionalities.
• Experience with tools like Splunk, Jira, and ServiceNow.
