We are seeking a Senior B2B Marketing Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various marketing channels, playing a crucial role in enhancing our marketing technology stack, centralizing data, and creating visualizations for better insights. Your primary objective will be to use these insights to inform marketing decisions, drive lead generation, optimize campaigns, improve customer segmentation, and enable predictive analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and source accuracy.
  • Identify business intelligence (BI) requirements and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns, focusing on ROI-driven KPIs.
  • Simplify complex data into clear insights to guide campaign strategies.
  • Report on marketing and sales funnel stage conversions, considering both first and multi-touch source attribution.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics across various marketing platforms regularly.
  • Enhance existing marketing forecast and prediction models using multi-year performance trends.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytical models to understand customer behavior and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Configure accurate tracking across digital platforms in coordination with digital marketing colleagues.
  • Manage data integrations between marketing and sales platforms, involving complex data workflows.
  • Create comprehensive reports for senior management to track progress toward KPIs and ROI.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend new data analytics tools and technologies.
  • Share best practices and promote cross-functional learning.
  • Mentor and guide less data-savvy marketing team members on data analysis techniques and data sources.
  • Coordinate with the IT department on data-related technical issues.
  • Oversee data governance to ensure data accuracy and completeness in reports and dashboards.
  • Take ownership of data-related problems and drive resolution processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of full marketing and sales funnels, including lead maturation processes.
  • Expertise in BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Data Studio, etc., and proficiency in SQL.
  • 5-7 years of experience working with data from inbound marketing platforms like HubSpot, Adobe Campaign, and Marketo (HubSpot Operations Hub experience is a plus).
  • Ability to quickly learn and connect with new marketing platforms using data pipelines and workflow automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing data workflows using platforms such as n8n, Tray, Make, etc.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex data into understandable insights.
  • Proven ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining data security and confidentiality.
  • Strong administrative and technical skills, including Microsoft Office, IM/video conferencing, and telephony.
