We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to lead a dynamic team and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction are met. In this role, you will be responsible for motivating and mentoring your hourly workforce while collaborating closely with support teams to develop and execute plans to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Support, mentor, and motivate hourly employees
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments
• Collaborate with cross-functional support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop strategic plans
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds, frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and standing/walking for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
• Adapt to varying noise levels and weather conditions, especially in outdoor loading departments
• Navigate stairs continuously in locations where stairs are present

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in employee and performance management
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent OR 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Flexibility to work a diverse schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
• Previous experience managing a team of 20+ employees and implementing process improvements (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
• Industry experience in sectors such as retail, food and beverage, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments
