We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and support a remote team, driving excellence in performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between performance and goals, managing performance, developing direct reports, and building and maintaining essential relationships. You will also be expected to analyze data trends, enhance team engagement, and contribute to process improvements. Additionally, you will assist in DSL (Delivery Station Logistics) projects and committees.
Responsibilities:

- Bridge gaps between performance and goals on a weekly basis
- Performance Management
- Development of direct reports
- Build and maintain station relationships
- Analyze and deep dive into trends in data reporting
- Enhance team engagement
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Assist in DSL Projects/committees
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be located in the Golden State / Sacramento region
- 1 year of prior experience managing 20+ customer service associates in contact centers or retail stores
- 1 year of prior experience successfully implementing change management in large-scale operations
- Experience in leading remote teams
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Full-time schedule (40+ hours per week) based on business needs
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 49 pounds, squatting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Ability to work in a varied noise level environment (hearing protection provided)
- Adaptability to work in conditions with varying temperatures due to weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2-3 years of leadership and people management experience
- Experience in AMZL Delivery Stations, Sort Centers, Fulfillment Centers
- Strong leadership and self-driven qualities with a proven ability to manage and grow operational teams
- Proficiency in project management and people management
- Business acumen and visionary thinking, with a track record of solving complex problems
- Collaborative approach, considering diverse perspectives, and utilizing data and anecdotes to make informed decisions
- Ability to lead, prioritize, and act decisively to achieve both short- and long-term goals
