Responsibilities:

• Support the professional growth of fellows in compelling, cutting-edge data training and employment initiatives by collaborating closely with a cohort of trainees throughout the program.
• Offer assistance with reviewing resumes and cover letters, conducting simulated interviews, negotiating salaries, and other job-search preparation tasks, such as marking professional development assignments.
• Monitor fellow career outcomes via LinkedIn and a survey
• Discuss themes related to professional growth with fellows on Slack.
• Identify obstacles to the Fellow’s advancement in a proactive manner and provide procedures and resources to enhance the Fellow’s experience and involvement.
• Return to Correlation One with insights and stats around fellow success.
• Work together with the internal team to develop fresh approaches to career counseling and program involvement in order to support the program’s future expansion as well as other projects.

Requirements:

• A minimum of four years in college or a comparable degree
• Two or more years of professional experience, preferably in professional coaching, career development, or comparable program management with a job seeker focus
• Excellent, executive-level English communication abilities both in writing and speaking
• Expertise building dependable connections and providing mature learners and/or job seekers with useful counsel
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint
• Kind, affable, and with a great sense of humor
• A propensity for thoughtful and sympathetic communication with people
• A strong work ethic, the capacity to function well under duress and with little direction
• Proactive in solving problems, very detail-oriented, and quick to pick things up
• A strong desire to establish a company with the goal of transforming lives via training
