Responsibilities:

• Perform: – Have the ability to take visual designs and convert them into fully functional code for the Shopify theme. This includes writing clear and intelligible CSS and JavaScript code that complements the Shopify theme code, as well as components and blocks that allow page section re-use and semantically correct liquid syntax.
• Make it Engaging: Utilizing Shopify and industry best practices, be able to work inside the Shopify theme to create an intriguing and engaging eCommerce experience that will yield a high return on investment for the client.
• Connected: For a genuinely customized user experience, be able to integrate with both the Front End Shopify Cart API logic and the Shopify theme API.
• Manage: Have the ability to administer and use Shopify’s capabilities, including as content generation, product development, page management, and API use for custom features and custom reporting jobs.

Requirements:

• Three plus years of experience developing for Shopify
• Solid understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including its advantages and disadvantages.
• Proficiency in writing and testing Ruby scripts for Shopify Scripts
• Strong command of the liquid template language and familiarity with the current paradigms of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• The capacity to develop top-notch cross-browser effective online apps.
• The capacity to navigate and control Shopify data in the Shopify admin and template files.
• Knowledge of the Shopify App ecosystem, including its functionality and application.
• Knowledge of Shopify data and the underlying Shopify API for administrative and customer users alike.
• Knowledge of Adobe XD, Sketch, and/or Figma.
• A thorough knowledge of appropriate UI and UX techniques for websites.
• We anticipate that you are familiar with GitHub and git.
• Familiarity with working remotely.
• Estimating a project’s work and translating specifications into activities that are definite and doable.

• The capacity to build Shopify apps from the ground up
• Possibility of developing a Headless Commerce application using the Shopify ecosystem and API.
• Familiarity with larger front-end libraries, such as React, etc.
