Responsibilities:
- To find security vulnerabilities and threats, conduct technological surveillance countermeasures and security assessments. Then, create remedial plans.
- Works independently to support the results of technical security evaluation campaigns, investigates and suggests mitigations, and examines potential security flaws from many sources to spot trends and patterns.
- Write evaluation reports, briefs, and white papers on vulnerabilities, security issues, and operational gaps that impact Amazon data, operations, and/or reputation for senior leadership, internal departments, and stakeholders.
- Closely coordinates on matters pertaining to AWS security posture with the other Amazon security and service teams.
- Work together with leadership teams, technical teams, and stakeholders to convert security risk mitigation plans into practical steps that reduce risk.
Requirements:
- Three or more years of expertise in project management, including experience with scope, schedule, budget, and quality as well as risk and critical path management – Five or more years of technical product or program management experience
- Proficiency in overseeing programs involving multidisciplinary teams, developing procedures, and planning release dates
- Engineering or computer science bachelor’s degree or five or more years of equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience reviewing, surveying, or evaluating technical surveillance countermeasures
- 5+ years of experience managing a security program for the entire company
- 5+ years of experience carrying out tasks on a program or team that deals with technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM)
- Over five years of expertise identifying vulnerabilities in all widely used wireless and technical security protocols
- More than five years of expertise recognizing relevant common signals in wired and wireless domains, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Zwave, cellular (UTMS, WCDMA, GSM, LTE, 5G), and common radios (FRS, GMRS).
- More than five years of expertise utilizing each of the following: Audio and signal amplification devices, radio frequency (RF) spectrum analyzers, non-linear junction detectors, RF broadband detection, infrared (near/far), pre-amplifiers, amplifiers, directional and omnidirectional antennas, and other TSCM equipment are examples of countermeasures receivers.
- Three or more years of experience showcasing superior customer service abilities
- Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Fundamentals course graduate
- Information and/or experience with In Place Monitoring systems (IPMS) and Wireless Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (WIDs/WIPs)
DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS
- Three or more years of experience working closely with technical teams
- Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related master’s degree; or seven or more years of relevant experience
- Five or more years of experience leading teams or programs in TSCM, including engagement management and scoping operations
- Understanding of technological and wireless security repair methods
- U.S. National
- At least five years of expertise in wireless network engineering or security engineering
- More than five years of experience with security technologies, policies, procedures, and risk assessment techniques.
- Five or more years of experience working with different organizations
- Identification of cellular vulnerabilities and corresponding remedial strategies for more than three years
- 3-plus years of threat analysis experience with VoIP, telephony, and industrial control systems (ICS)
- Three or more years of experience using AWS services and products.
- Three or more years of experience using shell scripts or scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, and so on.
