Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for managing and supporting contemporary development tools so that the company can implement DevSecOps methods.
  • Help make development tools that coordinate the distribution of application components to various settings more accessible and resilient.
  • Organize and lead training sessions on the application of DevSecOps technologies and best practices.
  • Manage the build process for numerous concurrent releases in a cloud environment and use build technologies to automate the build and deployment processes.
  • Use a Source Control System to maintain numerous software feature branches, including monitoring tools, scripts, data feeds, and associated scripts to support operationally crucial settings. Investigate, examine, and log production problems.
  • Together with the development and IT teams, design and set up a continuous integration build system. This includes taking part in application deployment and configuration as necessary, as well as deployment meetings and consultations to hone, test, and debug programs to meet technical requirements.
  • Analyze servers, databases, and related architecture needs, and make sure they can be met and maintained through the creation of high-quality deliverables, such as proof-of-concept prototypes and recommendations for architecture and technical leads.
  • Participate in application load tests, help patch servers, and debug SOA, networks, Web Application Firewalls, load balancers, HTTP/1-ITTPS communication, and browser clients as they apply to an environment with many web applications.
  • Up to three days per week of remote work are permitted. 10% of the time was spent traveling to other Delta offices for training, working with, and assisting other employees.

Requirements:

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)

  • Five years of experience in software development or a similar discipline and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related subject. As an alternative, we will accept seven years of experience in software development or a similar industry along with an Associate’s degree in computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting and Linux systems;
  • Having built automation and continuous integration/delivery ecosystems using Python, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and other programming languages;
  • Having knowledge with Agile techniques
  • Having knowledge of GIT, source control, and build technologies like GitHub or Bitbucket; and
  • Having support and troubleshooting experience for modern infrastructure and software development using Sonatype Nexus, Jenkins, GitLab, and SonarQube;
