Responsibilities:
Customer experience (CX) strategy, development, and integration are all evolving at Delta.
This Senior Analyst position is dedicated to the success of the experience since it aims to enable better integration between Consumer Insight and the In-Flight Services and Onboard Experience team and because it is expected to do so.
The person in this position is responsible for assisting with the further definition and development of the business case and activation thinking for novel areas of the customer experience, such as:
- Finding and removing data from many sources for use in models, analysis, and project development
- Creating meaningful hierarchies by combining views from several data sources
- Complicated ad hoc reporting and measuring at the divisional level under the direction of the leader
- Division-specific data support for enterprise-wide reporting
- Assisting the In-Flight Service and Onboard Experience team with challenging process improvement and project management engagements
- Giving results to CI leaders
- Assisting the divisional point of contact in developing best practices for advancing CX work
- Assisting in the selection of the appropriate integration points to achieve alignment with the larger CX organization
- Helping to forward necessary work by utilizing the currently used tools and procedures

Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)
- 18+ months of experience in the quantitative fields of analysis, information science, data visualization, or another pertinent discipline
- Is at ease using “test and adjust” as a growth strategy; is capable of driving quickly and taking calculated risks.
- Must be at ease presenting to leaders and working in both group and individual settings.
- A history of pursuing leadership positions in community and student organizations
- Most, if not all, of the following are things that successful candidates will have a fundamental understanding of or experience with:
- Other database interface tools and languages, such as SQL, SAS, and R
- Linear regression, segmentation, non-linear predictive (like logistic) regression, and machine learning are all statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Consistently puts the security and safety of oneself, others, and personal information first.
- Embraces varied people, ideas, and ways of doing things.
- Holds a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalent qualification.
- Possesses legal permission to work in the US and is at least 18 years old.
WHAT (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE
- Engineering, computer science, information science, business/management, mathematics/statistics, economics, or another quantitative field-related bachelor’s degree, OR master’s degree plus 0–2 years of relevant experience–required
- Preferably with prior airline experience
