Responsibilities:
- Among the responsibilities of the position are: – Seamlessly interact with internal clients, including teams from business development, real estate, law, tax, finance, human resources, and public relations.
- Effectively explain to external stakeholders at all levels and across disciplines the breadth and advantages of AWS investments.
- Offer direct assistance with growth projects, including site selection, research, business case creation, infrastructure evaluation, sustainability analysis, and incentive-related transaction and agreement structures.
- Business case development, analysis, and presentation experience.
- Ownership of the portfolio for the east coast from contract negotiations to benefit projection, commitment articulation to realization, and tracking. Managing interactions with outside legal counsel and other professional service providers is frequently part of this.
- Create and encourage cooperative plans for workforce and educational development by utilizing a variety of internal stakeholders.
- Outstanding attention to detail, good written and verbal communication abilities, and excellent organizational skills.
- You must be able to operate independently in a situation that is continuously changing and frequently unclear while exercising sound judgment.

Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience.
- 5+ Years of practical experience in economic development, consulting, or a related field, including recent data center transactional experience and subject-matter expertise in a corporate setting, law firm, legal department, accounting firm, consultant, or government agency.
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Work experience in US markets
- Extensive experience working with top-level company executives, governmental representatives, and external stakeholders.
- Worked as a team leader and manager of outside consultants, contractors, and advisers.
- A proven track record of success in creating effective relationships with governments, other public and private stakeholder organizations, and economic development agencies at all levels.
- Significant expertise negotiating incentives, concessions, and agreements for large-scale construction and expansion projects, including managing economic development challenges.
- The capacity to frequently travel abroad.
- Knowledge of tax-related agreements, concessions, and incentives.
- Previous experience in corporate real estate is a plus.
- Knowledge of government affairs and public policy.
- Previous involvement in strategic communication teams.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate the distinctive and advantageous effects of economic development projects in support of economic and fiscal impact evaluations.
- MBA, J.D. with active admission to the state bar, CPA, or another reputable professional accreditation or certification.
