Responsibilities:

• The MRO Project Lead will be in charge of assisting in the creation of engine, APU, component, Complete Fleet Services (CFS), and engine piece part repair costing and pricing framework for MRO industry competitiveness.
• Will assist Technical Product Managers and other contributing departments in developing standard proposals and then customizing them as needed.
• Will assist in the development of competitive bids and their passage through the approval process in industry-leading time frames.
• Contributes to forecasting, planning, and strategy development. Will work with Program Managers to maintain consistent quality in the proposal process and aesthetics.
• In all operational processes and procedures, demonstrates safety-conscious behavior.

Requirements:

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE IN ORDER TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor’s degree necessary in engineering, finance, program management, or a related discipline.
• An A&P license or expertise in a technical/production environment is preferred.
• 2+ years of technical experience / knowledge in the aerospace, airline, or MRO industries, with a focus on Delta TechOps capabilities, is essential.
• Strong project management abilities are required for reliably and successfully supplying cost and pricing data. Capability to influence and promote change at all organizational levels.
• Must be very skilled in written and spoken communication, as well as capable of producing concise, relevant documentation and presentations for customer and internal management.
• Capability to lead and execute many priorities on time.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and time management abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills, with experience in financial analysis.
• Internal and external customer attention is strong.
• Microsoft Office applications expert.
• Annual travel requirements are expected to be 10% – 20%.
• Is at least 18 years old and has legal permission to work in the United States.
• A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalence is required.
• Accepts a wide range of individuals, ideas, and styles.
• Consistently values self-, other-, and personal data safety and security.
