Position Description

We are on a lookout for a self-driven Staff Accountant with at least two years of accounting experience who can partner with our Finance team, provide support to our internal and external customers, and perform monthly accounting tasks. Your tasks will include monthly journal entries, campaign net revenue review, reconciliations, and tax processes, besides assisting with annual audits.

Responsibilities

– Provide support to internal and external customers in a responsive and positive manner.
– Support monthly close processes by preparing monthly journal entries, monthly bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and gross margin reviews.
– Investigate and respond to tax notices and support non-profit subsidiary financials.
– Ad hoc reporting and requests.
– Assist with annual audits as needed.
– Operate, organize, and reprioritize in a fast-paced business environment.
– Possess integrity and be an individual with a high level of ethics and character.
– Be detail-oriented, a self-starter, analytical, and possess problem-solving skills.
– Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player.
– Possess proficiency with MS Office suite, especially Excel (more specifically pivot tables and vlookups) and PowerPoint.
– Have experience with NetSuite and Concur – preferred.
– Have the aptitude and flexibility to understand the informational requirements of the business as it changes.
– Possess a willingness to learn in order to grow with the organization.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s/Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance.
– A minimum of two years of accounting experience is a must.
