Position Description

Parsons Corporation is looking for a SOX IT Audit Manager to work remotely and lead the documentation and testing of IT controls for their Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program. The SOX IT Audit Manager will be working under the Director of SOX Compliance and will be responsible for overseeing the IT portion of the program which includes process and control walkthroughs, narrative updates, tests of IT controls, identifying deficiencies, in-the-field education, and training of the employees.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the SOX IT Audit Manager are:
– Lead the SOX IT audit program and be responsible for finished work products leading to project success.
– Coach and supervise IT audit staff and interns to help them develop their skills and improve their productivity and contributions to our program.
– Plan, oversee and/or complete control walkthroughs.
– Create test plans, supervise and perform audit testing, and document results of tests of controls.
– Identify both design and operating deficiencies and document all related facts, impacts and recommendations for remediation.
– Establish yourself as a resource to our operating personnel, as an educator and advisor on refining procedures and controls to meet our standards for internal control.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related fields.
– Solid corporate internal audit experience and/or corporate SOX experience is acceptable.
– Public audit experience desired, Big 4 experience preferred.
– Prior experience in Information Technology roles desirable.
– Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements and IT General Controls.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Professional designation of CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA and/or CIA preferred.

Salary Range: $100,400.00 – $175,700.00
